ACENSI Belgium is seeking a Project Manager Network & Security to lead the design, deployment and security of IP and OT networks for industrial and transportation clients. You will coordinate between technical and business stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of secure, scalable network solutions.

The role requires SDN experience, CCNA/ITIL/PM certifications and a strong background in building secure, compliant architectures for networks in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in SDN design, configuration or deployment, including SDA projects.
• Experience with IP networks, routing, DNS, DHCP, WLAN and related tools.
• Strong knowledge of security concepts, segmentation, and ICS/OT considerations.

Responsabilités

ACENSI BELGIUM is looking for his client a Project Manager Network & Security (F/M/X)

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the reference architectures of the IP network infrastructures provided by the client and used by its customers, as well as the new OT network, ensuring robustness, high availability, scalability, and compliance with security requirements.
• Lead CURB/SCADA projects, from architecture definition and requirements gathering through to production deployment, ensuring coordination between technical and business stakeholders and overseeing the integration of field data into supervision and decision-support systems.
• Design and lead macro-segmentation and micro-segmentation network projects to strengthen the security and isolation of IT and OT environments. This also includes providing expertise in MPLS technologies and/or Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA), which is considered an asset.
• Design, develop, and deploy monitoring and supervision infrastructures to provide centralized visibility across infrastructures and improve availability, performance, and security.
• Act as Network Delivery Manager for SNCB, ensuring the coordination and delivery of network solutions while meeting commitments regarding quality, timelines, performance, and security.
• Lead BMS/GTC projects (Building Management Systems / Centralized Technical Management Systems), ensuring their design and implementation in compliance with regulations and requirements applicable to public and commercial buildings, notably GTCA and EPBD.
• Support the Security Champion of I-ICT.13 in monitoring and achieving cybersecurity objectives and NIS requirements, including tracking actions, risks, and security measures within the division.
• Perform cybersecurity risk assessments using the EBIOS methodology, identify risks associated with proposed architectures and solutions, and support business teams in defining and formalizing risk treatment plans.
• Define and document cybersecurity requirements through Cybersecurity Requirements Specifications (CRS), translating risk assessment outcomes into concrete and verifiable technical and organizational requirements.
• Support teams in the design and evolution of security architectures, ensuring the application of defense-in-depth, segmentation, and security-by-design principles, particularly with reference to IEC 62443 for industrial and OT environments.
• Provide advisory and expert support to IT, OT, network, security, and business teams, offering a transversal vision that ensures consistency across initiatives and alignment with the client architecture and cybersecurity standards.

Language Requirements

• Knowledge of Dutch or French: C1 level (advanced professional proficiency).
• Knowledge of English: understanding, reading, and writing at B2 level (upper intermediate).

Required Experience & Technical Expertise

Software Defined Networking (SDN)

• Demonstrated technical experience in the design, configuration, and/or deployment of Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions, particularly:
• Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA).
• Experience must be demonstrated through at least one significant and concrete project.

Level: L2 (minimum 2 years of experience).

CCNA, ITIL & Project Management

• Significant experience using methodologies and practices related to:
• CCNA.
• ITIL.
• Project Management.
• Certifications are considered an asset; however, expertise must primarily be demonstrated through practical application in at least one significant and concrete project.
• Certifications do not need to be recent or renewed.
• Level: L3 (minimum 5 years of experience).

IP Network Architecture & Operations

• Demonstrated technical experience in the design, implementation, and/or operation of IP networks, including:
• Routing protocols.
• DNS.
• DHCP.
• WLAN.
• ISE.
• Infoblox.
• Expertise must be demonstrated through at least two concrete project experiences. Level: L4 (minimum 10 years of experience).
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing network segmentation and micro segmentation strategies, including:
• VRF.
• VDOM.
• SGT.
• Related technologies.
• Competency must be demonstrated through at least one concrete project involving segmentation of network environments of a scale comparable to the client.
• Level: L2 (minimum 2 years of experience).

Firewalling & Network Security

• Demonstrated technical experience in the design, implementation, and/or evolution of firewall solutions and in applying network traffic security principles.
• Experience must be demonstrated through at least one significant and concrete project.
• Level: L4 (minimum 10 years of experience).

Railway Sector Experience

• Demonstrated experience in railway environments and in addressing their specific requirements, acquired through at least one concrete project delivered for:
• INFRABEL
• SNCB
• Another railway sector organization
• Practical and demonstrable experience in one or more railway environments must also be evidenced through at least one relevant project, such as:
• Interlocking
• ETCS
• Railway signaling
• Level: L3 (minimum 5 years of experience).

Building Automation & EN ISO 52120-1

• Demonstrated experience applying the concepts and constraints associated with EN ISO 52120 1, particularly within technical building management and building automation systems.
• Knowledge must be evidenced through at least one concrete project.
• Level: L2 (minimum 2 years of experience).

NIS2 & ISO 27001

• Demonstrated experience applying cybersecurity requirements linked to:
• NIS2.
• Expertise must be demonstrated through at least one concrete project involving the implementation, assessment, or improvement of security and/or governance measures.
• Level: L2 (minimum 2 years of experience).

Operational Technology (OT) Architecture

• Demonstrated technical experience in the design and architecture of Operational Technology (OT) environments, taking into account the principles and requirements of IEC 62443, including:
• Associated architecture and segmentation principles.
• Expertise must be demonstrated through at least one concrete project in an OT/industrial environment.
• Level: L2 (minimum 2 years of experience).
