Infrabel invites applications for a Senior Network Architect in Brussels. You will design and evolve secure, high-performance network infrastructures within the Transmission Architecture & Security team, focusing on meeting stringent security, availability, and performance standards.

You will lead initiatives around automation, policy-based network design, and incident mitigation, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with vendors to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering and design in complex environments.
• Master's Degree Or Equivalent Experience Required.
• French (fluent) and Dutch (professional) language skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design and deploy secure, high-performance, and scalable network solutions using Cisco SDA, Cisco ACI, and other SDN technologies.
• Participate in network evolution and transformation with a focus on automation and security.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize network segmentation and policy-based automation.
• Analyze network performance and traffic flows to ensure stability and anticipate issues.
• Improve incident management through proactive monitoring and automation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards like NIS2, IEC/ISA 62443, and ISO 27001.
• Act as an escalation point for complex or critical network incidents.
• Provide technical and architectural expertise to project teams and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior network engineers on SDA technologies.
• Collaborate with vendors and technical partners to resolve complex issues.
