Job summary

AETHER is seeking a medior Project Control Officer to establish an integrated program management approach covering budget, schedule, risk, reporting and PMO coordination for a major infrastructure program in Belgium.

You will join program management specialists and report to the Program Manager while working closely with project leaders, engineers and stakeholders. Two days onsite; strong emphasis on collaboration and timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a financial, business or technical field such as business engineering or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in project or program management.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure or CAPEX projects is a strong asset.
• PMI/PMP course or equivalent is an asset.
• Organisational, results-oriented with ability to set priorities and act on them.
• Clear written and spoken communication with ability to present concise insights.
• Collaborative approach and teamwork.
• Fluency in English and either Dutch or French, with working knowledge of the other language.
• Availability for assignment 7 Dec 2026 to 31 Dec 2027, with two days onsite.
• Valid non-EU permit to work in Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the program management framework for budget, schedule, risk management, reporting and governance.
• Manage reference plans for scope, schedule and budget with traceability.
• Consolidate budget estimates, cost forecasts and funds set aside for risks.
• Facilitate risk and opportunity management and preventive actions.
• Coordinate or manage PMO experts and activities across the program.
• Develop and manage program reporting for governance bodies.
• Ensure traceability between objectives, plans, progress, risks and decisions.
