Job summary

Elia Group, a leading Belgian energy company, seeks an AI Architect to define and own architecture patterns for core AI solutions across the group. You’ll lead the design and deployment of scalable AI building blocks and reusable blueprints, collaborating with governance, cybersecurity and engineering teams to ensure secure, production-ready AI systems.

You will accelerate AI solution delivery by crafting scalable platforms, templates, and reference implementations while aligning with enterprise

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in AI, cloud, or data engineering; 5+ years delivering AI/ML in production.
• Proven experience building and operating platforms or shared technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define target architecture and governance for AI across Elia Group.
• Lead design, build and evolution of AI building blocks and playbooks.
• Create reusable frameworks, templates, pipelines and reference implementations.
• Translate technical choices into business language; explain risks and value.
• Ensure AI capabilities integrate with Group IT landscape and governance.
• Collaborate with AI governance, Cybersecurity and Engineering teams.
