ShowTex Belgium is seeking a Production Assistant for the Sewing Workshop’s Creative Team. You’ll help turn creative concepts into finished products, prepare materials, assemble decorative elements and ensure quality and timeliness across projects.

Working at our headquarters near Antwerp, you’ll join a close-knit, international company that values craftsmanship, responsibility and independent work. Dutch fluency is expected, with English a plus, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Previous experience isn’t essential; motivation and willingness to learn matter.
• Familiarity with drawing or design software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of sewing and textile fabrication is a plus.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch.
• Knowledge of English is a plus.
• You have good numeracy skills and work accurately with measurements and dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workspaces and materials so projects run efficiently and on schedule.
• Create decorative elements based on a design, brief, or idea.
• Cut, stick, glue, fit and assemble different materials for high-quality results.
• Support the sewing workshop during production and help complete jobs on time.
• Contribute practical and creative solutions to technical and visual challenges.
• Perform quality checks on dimensions, finishes, materials and accessories.
• Test finishes and trial setups to meet quality standards.
• Record issues and improvement opportunities to refine processes.
• Assist with stock management, administrative tasks and updating project information.
• Check orders are correct, complete and ready for dispatch.
• Help keep the workplace safe, tidy and organized.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

No two days are the same. Together with your colleagues, you turn creative concepts into carefully finished products.

• You prepare workspaces and materials so projects can run efficiently and stay on schedule.
• You create decorative elements based on a design, a brief or a specific idea.
• You cut, stick, glue, fit and assemble different materials to achieve a high-quality result.
• You support the sewing workshop throughout production and help complete jobs smoothly and within the agreed deadlines.
• You contribute practical and creative solutions to technical and visual challenges.
• You carry out quality checks during production, making sure dimensions, finishes, materials and accessories are correct and complete.
• You test finishes and trial setups to check that each project meets the required quality standards.
• You record issues and areas for improvement and help us refine our processes.
• You help with stock management, administrative tasks and keeping project information up to date.
