DynaFin is seeking a Product Owner with strong SEPA Direct Debit experience for a client in the banking sector in Belgium. You will own and prioritize the product backlog, drive SEPA Direct Debit evolution and translate business needs into features in close collaboration with business, operations and IT teams across the end-to-end payment chain.

Fluent in ENG plus FR/NL and a proven track record in payments are required to thrive in a complex banking environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Product Owner in payments.
• Strong knowledge of SEPA Direct Debit (SDD).
• Understanding SEPA schemes and end-to-end payment flows.
• Experience defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.

The mission focuses on the evolution of payment products and processes, with a strong emphasis on SEPA Direct Debit, functional ownership and end-to-end delivery in close collaboration with business, operations and IT teams.

• Own, manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Drive the evolution of SEPA Direct Debit products, processes and payment flows.
• Translate business and regulatory needs into features, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Profile

• Min 5 years of proven experience as a Product Owner within the payments industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) is essential.
• Strong understanding of SEPA schemes, payment processing and end-to-end payment flows.
• Experience managing and prioritizing a product backlog.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional solutions.
• Experience collaborating with both business and IT teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in ENG + FR/NL
• Autonomous and comfortable working in a complex banking environment.
