recurv is seeking an experienced freelance Product Owner with Guidewire experience to join a greenfield Guidewire Cloud implementation in the Brussels region, focusing on Commercial Insurance. You will own PolicyCenter and Product Definition, working with business stakeholders, BAs, and configuration developers within a distributed Agile team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner in complex IT transformation programs.
• Guidewire experience with PolicyCenter is highly relevant.
• Strong understanding of insurance policy and product processes.
• Proven backlog management, requirements gathering and user story writing.
• Non-Life/P&C insurance knowledge is highly relevant.
• Ability to bridge business, functional and technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Take Product Ownership for Guidewire PolicyCenter / Product Definition.
• Define and prioritise business and functionalRequirements.
• Build, maintain and prioritise the product backlog.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories with Business Analysts.
• Drive scope and priorities across delivery phases.
• Contribute to solution design and ensure business-technical alignment.
• Provide direction to the Scrum team.
• Collaborate with 3-4 Business Analysts and Guidewire developers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple locations.
• Support inception and subsequent build and delivery activities.
