Job summary

Optimile, a leader in EV charging software, seeks a Product Owner - Roaming. You will own the roaming product roadmap, translate customer needs into clear requirements, and collaborate with a cross-functional squad to deliver robust software across Europe.

You’ll leverage a technical mindset, drive data-driven decisions, and stay curious about the evolving e-mobility landscape while thriving in a hybrid Ghent, Belgium setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS or software environment.
• Strong technical mindset; APIs, integrations and data structures spark your curiosity.
• A hands-on approach to analysis; you write specs and map flows with your squad.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Talent for prioritization, stakeholder management and alignment.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Dutch; French is a nice bonus.
• Experience in EV roaming, OCPI or e-mobility is a plus.

That is why we are looking for a Product Owner - Roaming who is ready to take ownership, connect the dots and turn complex challenges into smart solutions.

Your role

Ever wondered how EV drivers can charge across different networks with just one charging card or app? That's roaming. And behind that seamless experience is a whole lot of clever technology.

What You'll Do

• Own it. Take charge of your product roadmap, from the first idea tot go-live
• Connect the dots. Turn customer needs, business opportunities and technical challenges into clear product requirements.
• Build together. Work closely with your squad to design, develop and deliver great software.
• Make smart choices. Prioritize what matters most, balancing customer value, business impact and technical feasibility.
• Keep things connected. Drive improvements in roaming integrations, interoperability and data exchange between charging networks.
• Listen & learn. Team up with support and account management to understand what customers really need.
• Let data guide you. Use product insights and customer feedback to continuously improve.
• Stay curious. Keep an eye on what is happening in e-mobility and bring fresh ideas to the table.

What We Are Looking For

You love solving problems, connecting people and technology and turning complexity into clarity. You don't just manage a backlog. You challenge, prioritize and take ownership.

Sounds like you? Even better if you bring:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS or Software environment.
• Strong technical mindset. API's, integrations and data structures don't scare you. They spark your curiosity
• A hands-on approach to analysis. You are comfortable writing specs, mapping flows and figuring things out together with your squad.
• Experience working in Agile/ Scrum teams.
• A talent for prioritization, stakeholder management and keeping everyone aligned.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Dutch, proficiency in French is a nice bonus.
• Experience in EV roaming, OCPI or e-mobility? Awesome, but definitely not a dealbreaker
