Digisourced. in Belgium is seeking a Codebeamer Solution Architect to lead the deployment of the central ALM/Requirements Management platform.

You will shape the architecture and governance, ensuring end-to-end traceability across requirements, engineering activities and verification campaigns. The role requires deep experience with ALM tools (Codebeamer, Polarion, DOORS), strong systems engineering knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management.

A major European defense and industrial company is launching a strategic transformation of its Systems Engineering and Product Development toolchain. As part of this initiative, the organization is deploying PTC Codebeamer as the central

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Requirements Management platform.

The objective is to establish a modern digital engineering environment ensuring end-to-end traceability between stakeholder requirements, system specifications, development activities, verification campaigns and product configurations. The client is already using the PTC software for their PLM and mechanical design.

The Codebeamer Solution Architect will lead the design, governance and deployment of the platform while ensuring its integration within the existing engineering ecosystem.

Mission

• Define and drive the overall Codebeamer deployment strategy
• Design the target ALM architecture and governance model
• Establish requirements management and traceability standards
• Configure data models, workflows, permissions and lifecycle processes
• Define migration strategy from legacy tools and repositories
• Coordinate stakeholders across Engineering, Quality, Validation and IT teams
• Ensure alignment with Systems Engineering and Product Development processes
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives
• Act as the primary technical authority for the Codebeamer implementation

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to capture business and engineering requirements
• Design Codebeamer project structures and data governance
• Define integrations with engineering tools (PLM, MBSE, test management, CI/CD, issue tracking)
• Establish traceability frameworks across the product lifecycle
• Supervise migration activities and data quality controls
• Develop deployment roadmaps and implementation plans
• Coach project teams and key users
• Support executive reporting and transformation governance
• Identify risks and propose mitigation actions

Required Skills

Mandatory

• 10+ years of experience in Engineering Digital Transformation
• Strong experience with ALM and Requirements Management platforms
• Proven expertise with Codebeamer, Polarion, DOORS or equivalent solutions
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering methodologies
• Experience in regulated or complex engineering environments
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities
• Strong understanding of requirements traceability and compliance processes

Nice to Have

• MBSE experience
• Knowledge of PTC ecosystem (Windchill, Modeler)
• Experience with defense, aerospace, rail or automotive industries
• Familiarity with Agile and Hybrid development models
