Loop seeks a Product Design Engineer II in Antwerp or Amsterdam to own mechanical design for subsystems through mass production. You will lead DFM and validation, and collaborate with contract manufacturers (CMs) and ODMs to ready designs for high-volume consumer devices.

This hands-on role uses Onshape for CAD, balancing performance, cost, robustness, and manufacturability while guiding material choices and finishes. Hybrid work includes occasional travel to CM sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing injection-moulded parts for high-volume consumer products.
• Strong fundamentals: tolerances, stack-ups, fastening, material selection.
• Experience with injection moulding processes around small consumer hardware.

Responsabilités

• Own mechanical design for assigned subassemblies from concept through mass production.
• Lead design reviews and tolerance analysis.
• Execute EVT, DVT and PVT builds and iterate based on test results.
• Partner with CM/ODM on DFM reviews, tooling and production readiness.
• Author and own 2D drawings and specifications.
• Drive ECOs and changing processes in Arena.
• Finalize part designs with Sourcing and CM input.
• Approve drawing releases for BOM-level parts.
• Work in Onshape as the core mechanical CAD environment.
