Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for Westerlo, Belgium, to drive the mechanical design of consumer products from concept through production. You will build 3D CAD models, create detailed drawings and work closely with engineers, suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, testing, iteration and collaboration across disciplines to deliver high‑quality products on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or related field.
• Strong experience with 3D CAD and mechanical product design.
• Experience turning concepts into manufacturable products, with prototyping and testing.

Responsabilités

• Design mechanical components, assemblies and consumer products.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies and drawings.
• Translate requirements into practical mechanical solutions with manufacturability in mind.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes.
• Develop prototypes and support product testing and validation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and other engineering teams.
• Support transition from development to production.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical documentation.
