NTT DATA Belgium in Brussels is seeking a motivated Procurement Operations Specialist/Technician to join our Procurement team. You will provide operational support across P2P/S2P, coordinating with internal stakeholders, buyers, Finance, and suppliers while ensuring timely processing of PRs/POs in SAP/Ariba.

The role requires hands-on SAP Ariba and SAP ERP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and French (Dutch a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement operations or similar.
• Hands-on with SAP Ariba and/or SAP procurement solutions.
• Good knowledge of an ERP purchasing environment, preferably SAP.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Operations Specialist / Technician to join our Procurement team in Brussels.

The successful candidate will provide operational and administrative support across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) / Source-to-Pay (S2P) process and will work closely with internal stakeholders, buyers, Finance, suppliers, and other business functions.

The role requires strong hands‑on knowledge of SAP Ariba and/or SAP ERP, combined with a good understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.

Your role:

Procurement Operations

• Create, modify, and follow up on Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP/Ariba.
• Ensure purchase orders are created accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Support the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, from requisition through ordering, receipt, and invoice resolution.
• Monitor open and blocked purchase orders and follow up with the relevant stakeholders.

SAP Ariba & ERP Support

• Act as a first point of contact for operational questions related to SAP Ariba and SAP ERP procurement processes.
• Support users with Ariba Buying / Guided Buying and related procurement workflows.
• Assist suppliers with the SAP Business Network / Ariba Network, including PO-related issues where applicable.
• Support supplier onboarding and supplier master-data maintenance.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding purchase orders, confirmations, invoices, and administrative requirements.
• Help ensure supplier information is complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies related to POs, quantities, prices, receipts, or supplier information.
• Work closely with Accounts Payable and Finance to resolve blocked or rejected invoices.
• Follow up with internal requesters to ensure timely goods receipt/service confirmation.

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Monitor procurement operational KPIs and prepare basic reports using Excel and/or SAP reporting tools.
• Identify recurring operational issues and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving automation, data quality, compliance, and user experience.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent through relevant professional experience.
• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in procurement operations, purchasing administration, supply chain, or a similar role.
• Good understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Ariba and/or SAP procurement solutions.
• Good knowledge of an ERP purchasing environment, preferably SAP.
• Good understanding of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods/service receipts, supplier master data, and invoice processes.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Good level in English & French languages, Dutch is a plus.
