Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support operational and administrative procurement activities. The role involves handling purchase orders, SAP/Ariba queries, and coordinating project tasks with stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have a technical or administrative background, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English with a French or Dutch touch. This is a full‑time, on‑site opportunity in Belgium with exposure to international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or administrative field.
• Solid understanding of purchasing process and procurement workflows.
• Experience with SAP MM and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proactive, autonomous, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent English with fluent level of French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Handle administrative tasks within the purchasing department and ensure procurement timelines.
• Create and modify purchase orders and contracts within SAP.
• Support internal customers and suppliers with procurement queries via SAP and Ariba.
• Coordinate project activities, track progress against deadlines, and maintain project documentation.
• Prepare project demonstrations and develop training materials for stakeholders and end users.
• Draft and manage project communications, including updates and announcements.
• Identify potential process improvements and collaborate on business cases for optimization.
