Imec, headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a process operator to join its nanoelectronics cleanroom. You will train before operating high-end devices, organize workload, and ensure quality in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You will participate in shift work, maintain safety and efficiency, report issues promptly, and contribute to continuous improvements within imec. The role offers opportunities to grow within a premier research center.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication is required.

• You will receive an intensive training before coordinating and operating high-end devices in the clean room.
• You organize your own workload according to defined goals.

Who are we looking for?

Well, an enthusiastic personality and a passion for technology already go a long way. You are hands-on, full of expectation and eager to prove yourself. You enjoy working in a team, are accurate, dare to take initiative and are not afraid of asking questions. You have fluent communication skills in English. You are not looking for a typical nine-to-five and you see the advantages of working in shifts every now and again - handsome bonusses and lots of quality time on your hands while others are insanely busy. An example of our shift regime:

• Week X: You will work the early shift from Monday to Friday.
• Week X+1: You work the night shift from Monday to Friday.
• Week X+2: You work the late shift from Monday to Wednesday, on Thursday and Friday you have recuperation and on Saturday and Sunday you work 12h.
• Week X+3: From Monday to Wednesday you have recuperation and on Thursday and Friday you work in the late shift.
• Week X: You work from Monday to Friday in the early shift.
