Job summary

IMEC in Leuven, Belgium seeks a Process Integration Engineer for Advanced Processing Services. You will engage with strategic partners, lead new NPI requests, and define process flows with customers.

Daily oversight of lots and proactive issue resolution ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries amid a highly international environment. The role values independent work, problem-solving ability, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• At least 3 years of process integration experience in a high-volume wafer Fab.
• Proactive, independent worker with strong integrity and accountability.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Engage with IMEC’s strategic partners on processing requests, specs, and deliveries.
• Lead NPIs from partners and define process flows with customers.
• Daily follow‑up of lots, issue resolution, reporting and escalations.
• Define actions when inline date is OoS or drifting and ensure on-time delivery.
• Triage inline data with process and integration experts for root-cause analysis.

What you will do

• Engagedirectly with IMEC’s strategic partners on processing requests, specifications, and deliveries.
• Projectlead for new Low Volume Production requests(NPI)from IMEC’s partners.
• Definition of process flows based on technical description agreed with the customer.
• Daily follow up of the lots in progress, taking responsibility on issue resolution,reportingandescalations.
• Defineactions when in-line date is OutofSpec (OoS) or drifting.
• Ensure products are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Summarizeand report in-line process datausing statistical data analysis.
• Troubleshoot integration issuestogether withimec’sProcess and Integration Experts.

Who you are

• You have a BSc or MSc in Chemistry, Physics, ElectricalEngineering,or other related fields.
