Job summary

Imec is seeking a Process Engineer for thin-film and wafer metrology in Belgium. You will manage metrology tools, develop automated measurement recipes, and ensure stability, quality and throughput in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Your role includes owning multiple metrology tools, supporting operators, and collaborating with researchers and engineers to improve efficiency and safety. English fluency and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Science or Engineering is required.
• Solid theoretical foundation and hands-on experience in thin-film/metrology is preferred.
• Fluency in English and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize thin-film and wafer metrology tools.
• Develop automated measurement recipes for operators.
• Ensure equipment stability, quality, throughput and safety.
• Own metrology equipment qualification, stability, and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with researchers, hardware engineers and operations.
