Standard Investment is expanding its Belgian investment team in Brussels with a Private Equity intern for Oct–Dec 2026. You will support deal sourcing, market and company research, and assist with the full M&A process, including due diligence and documentation.

You will gain hands-on experience on portfolio projects, interact with seasoned investors, and develop analytical and Excel-based skills in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on: we expect you to be a self-starting individual under the guidance of our team. You will be involved in portfolio company projects where initiative and an independent work attitude are expected.
• Skills: you are able to process and analyze data efficiently and effectively with a critical mindset. You have an affinity with databases, analytics and Excel.
• Character: you balance IQ with EQ and are proactive and conceptually strong. You are energized by complex cases and questions. You enjoy having fun in what you do, working with like-minded people.

We are currently looking to reinforce our Belgian investment team in our Brussels office with a Private Equity intern for the period October - December 2026. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals and learn from seasoned investors turning theory into practice. The internship will involve

• supporting the team in searching for new investment opportunities;
• researching markets and companies;
• assisting with full M&A process, incl. management meetings, due diligence and preparation internal & external documents;
• close involvement through strategic and/or operational projects in our portfolio companies.

Profile

You are an ambitious and highly motivated student, furthermore you display the following elements:
