Function
Your mission

As a Prevention Advisor, you play a key role in supporting the employer in deploying its safety policy by involving all management levels and employees. As a true partner to management, you operate at strategic level, on the shop floor, and in continuous improvement, within a demanding and international industrial environment.

Your main responsibilities
Leadership & engagement of management and employees

Advise management on all matters related to safety and health.

Prepare and actively participate in meetings with management and employee representatives.

Deploy the safety strategy through structured action plans (GPP, JAP, etc.).

Act as a driving force in the development of the safety culture.

Organisation & management systems

Manage, improve and maintain the safety management system (ISO 45001 objective).

Advise management in drafting safety-related procedures and instructions.

Ensure rigorous document management and follow up on legislative changes.

Support organisational and functional changes with a safety‑oriented approach.

Ensure clear and impactful communication towards management and the line hierarchy.

Lead prevention campaigns, visual materials, signage and internal communications.

Organise and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks and training sessions.

Act as an accessible and visible safety reference on the shop floor.

Regulatory compliance & audits

Ensure regulatory monitoring and compliance with current legislation.

Lead internal and external audits.

Participate in management reviews, the safety governance committee and monthly safety reporting.

Monitor and analyse safety KPIs and statistics.

Prevention and Protection Committee

Organise and manage the secretariat of the Prevention Committee (agenda, meetings, minutes).

Draft monthly and annual reports for the prevention department.

Follow up on action plans decided within the committee.

Support new projects and investments according to the Design for Safety principle.

Manage the commissioning of machines, equipment and PPE (procedures, approvals, documentation).

Define and manage the safety and health training plan.

Manage the skills matrix and mandatory training requirements.

Advise management on safety induction for new employees and external staff.

Train, coach and support managers and teams.

Management of external partners

Advise management on supervising the safety of external companies (work permits, audits, evaluations).

Collaborate with external services such as occupational physicians, authorities and insurance companies.

Act as the group’s safety contact at international level.

Emergency preparedness & crisis management

Update and deploy emergency and evacuation plans.

Support management in organising crisis simulation exercises.

Ensure training is organised for intervention teams and first aiders.

Analyse incidents and accidents and lead corrective action plans.

Profile

We are looking for a safety and prevention professional, motivated by hands‑on work, collaboration and continuous improvement, and able to integrate into a demanding and evolving industrial environment.

Education & experience

Degree as a Prevention Advisor – Level 1.

Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.

Strong motivation to further develop skills and grow within the field of occupational safety and health.

Technical skills

Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health.

Good understanding of safety management systems.

Ability to analyse risks and propose pragmatic solutions.

Interest in standards, audits and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication skills with a positive and constructive approach.

Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, punctuality and reliability.

Ability to work autonomously while being a true partner to teams and management.

Strong analytical skills.
