Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Postdoctoral Scientist in Multimodal Representation Learning for Predictive Biology to join the DDSAI team on a two-year fixed term.

You will develop AI/ML models for drug discovery, integrating imaging, omics and other data, and collaborate across teams in Beerse, Belgium, Madrid and beyond. A PhD and strong publication record are required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML for biology with publications in top AI/ML venues.
• Experience in multimodal modeling and deep learning for imaging and omics.

Responsabilités

• Conceive, design and implement AI/ML solutions for drug discovery using multimodal data.
• Analyze large-scale imaging, phenomics, transcriptomics and proteomics data.
• Develop computer vision methods to quantify cell heterogeneity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate results clearly.
• Maintain code and document workflows; draft manuscripts for publication.
