START PEOPLE invites applications for a Finance Controller role with an international organization focused on Aftermarket services for mobility systems. The position is Brussels-based, offering immediate impact from day one and autonomous work in a technical, global context.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting/Economics degree and 5+ years as Finance Controller or similar, with strong P&L, balance sheet, cash flow understanding, and advanced Excel plus ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 5+ years experience as Finance Controller or similar role.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Able to work independently and accurately in a complex environment.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.

Responsabilités

• Monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Analysis of costs, margins, and performance
• Supporting management with financial insights and decision‑making
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external requirements
• Preparing audits and improving internal controls
• Acting as sparring partner for operational and technical stakeholders
