WLG in Mons area (Belgium) seeks a platform owner for a Linux-based security tooling platform. You will manage the Linux stack, containers, accounts, proxies, and monitoring to ensure availability for the defence cyber team.

You will install, patch and configure Linux servers, manage network services and access rules, review logs, and automate routine tasks. This role requires strong Linux, Docker, and scripting skills and a security-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT with several years in IT security.
• Strong Linux administration and Docker container management.
• Proficient scripting in Python, shell or PowerShell.
• Experience with log analysis and incident response in large environments.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure and patch Linux servers and manage accounts, permissions and security settings.
• Configure network services, proxies, and access controls.
• Review logs and alerts; monitor system health and handle tickets and incidents.
• Report on system health, monitoring, compliance, and capacity trends.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and inventory of tools and sources.
• Test backups, resolve performance bottlenecks, and automate manual tasks.
• Serve as SME for the tooling across its lifecycle.
