Wlgroup is seeking a capable IT security platform administrator to own the Linux-based tooling end to end in a defence cyber environment near Mons. You will manage Linux servers, containers, accounts, proxies and monitoring to ensure platform availability.

You will implement network services, review logs, and automate routine tasks while maintaining up-to-date documentation and inventory across integrated sources and tools. Strong scripting and VMware experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a computer science or IT degree, or equivalent experience
• Several years in IT security with a focus on system administration and security tool management in a large organisation
• Strong Linux administration and Docker container management
• Scripting in Python, shell or PowerShell
• Experience with IP switching, routing, and network troubleshooting; VMware-based virtual infrastructure
• Desirable: service management, monitoring tooling, Ansible, ITIL, CISSP/CISM/CISA

Responsabilités

• Installing, configuring and patching Linux servers behind the platform, and managing accounts, permissions and security settings
• Configuring the network services it depends on, and keeping proxy and access rules correct
• Reviewing logs and alerts, verifying system health daily, and acting on tickets, changes and incidents
• Reporting on system health, monitoring activity and compliance—audit logs, performance, capacity trends
• Keeping documentation and inventory of integrated sources and tools current
• Testing backup restores, resolving performance bottlenecks, and automating manual work
• Acting as the SME for the tool itself through its lifecycle
