Job summary

Talencia Consulting is seeking a Platform Engineer to maintain and upgrade Kubernetes and OpenShift environments for a client in Brussels. You will ensure high availability, handle incidents, and drive deployments with automation and observability using Python and IaC tools.

This 1-year+ engagement requires strong DevOps skills and proactive problem solving. Your day-to-day includes automating tasks with Terraform/Ansible, monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana, and participating in on-call

Qualifications

• Advanced Linux administration required.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Experience with Python scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Platform & Operations: Maintain, upgrade, and support Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• System Availability: Ensure high availability, manage incidents, root-cause analysis, and deployments.
• Automation & Monitoring: Use Infrastructure-as-Code and Python to reduce manual tasks; maintain observability tools.
• Security & On-Call: Manage platform security, patching, access controls, and on-call rotations.
