Gaming1 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and evolve internal tooling for Product Engineering teams. You will design developer-facing tools, contribute to golden paths, and ensure tooling aligns with .NET and platform directions.

You will collaborate across teams, raise code quality, and document decisions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in senior engineering roles, strong .NET skills, and hands-on tooling experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Senior Platform Engineer.
• Strong expertise in .NET development.
• Experience building developer-facing tooling, CLIs, or internal utilities.
• Software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, code quality).
• Experience or interest in Python for platform tooling.
• Experience with React/Next.js, Backstage or similar.
• Kubernetes and container-based workflows.
• Thinks in terms of platforms and products, with engineers as customers.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve internal tooling and platform APIs built by senior engineers.
• Design and build new developer-facing tools (CLIs, templates, starter kits).
• Contribute to golden paths by composing building blocks into workflows.
• Ensure tooling is well-engineered and aligned with the .NET ecosystem.
• Raise the bar on code quality, testing practices, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering teams to gather feedback.
• Work with architects to align tooling with platform direction.
