Job summary

In4Matic seeks a Senior Network & Security Architect to shape its network and security infrastructure. You will blend architectural leadership with hands-on delivery to advance technology, strengthen resilience, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements, including NIS2 initiatives.

You will define roadmaps, lead architecture reviews, produce designs and guidelines, and collaborate with engineers, governance teams, and project managers.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive experience in senior network and security architecture roles.
• Expertise across network technologies (ACI, routing, switching, MPLS, Wi‑Fi) and security solutions (firewalls, WAF, VPN).
• Proficient in regulatory/compliance initiatives (NIS2) and architecture governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain technology roadmaps, reference architectures, standards, and design principles for network and security platforms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and translate strategic objectives into architecture guidelines.
• Lead architecture reviews, validate designs, and guide solution architects, PMs, engineers, and operations teams.
• Contribute to strategic projects and regulatory initiatives (NIS2), ensuring security, resilience, and risk management compliance.
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation, including high‑level and low‑level designs, technical standards, and implementation guidelines.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and cross‑functional impacts, supporting build and run teams in complex decisions.
• Promote knowledge sharing, facilitate architecture review sessions, and support professional development of network and security engineers.
