Job summary

Lakeside Foods Inc. in Belgium is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the plant's production, quality assurance, and materials flow, ensuring high-quality, food-safe products.

You will provide floor leadership, drive safety, health, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement, while mentoring teams and coordinating facilities, logistics, and maintenance to maximize production and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and ≥3 years leading manufacturing or processing operations.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, quality control, safety standards, and resource management.
• Familiarity with plant functions including facilities, logistics, and maintenance; SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and supervise the operation function in the production of a high quality, food safety product.
• Provide leadership on the operating floor striving for compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality.
• Manage and supervise all areas of Lakeside's Plant operations to ensure optimal performance.
• Promote employee engagement and development to maximize production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement goals.
