Stellantis e-Transmissions in Sint-Truiden seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing site for e-DCT components. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and people objectives while shaping a stable and continuously improving operation.

You will oversee Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and EI, manage capacity and staffing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for future products and processes.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in production management, manufacturing engineering, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and manufacturing cost.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, operational performance management, and structured problem solving.
  • Experience leading a multidisciplinary plant organization.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Dutch knowledge is a plus (preferred).

Responsabilités

  • Lead the plant to achieve its Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People objectives.
  • Ensure achievement of the production plan in line with required output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Drive daily manufacturing performance through KPIs, shop-floor management, and rapid problem solving.
  • Improve productivity and total production cost through loss elimination, process optimization, automation, line balancing, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure production equipment reliability and availability through effective maintenance and equipment performance improvement.
  • Drive product and process quality, including scrap reduction, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes are robust, standardized, and continuously improved in line with Stellantis production principles.
  • Lead manufacturing engineering and industrialization activities related to process changes, equipment, capacity, and new product introduction.
  • Ensure appropriate capacity, staffing, and resource planning to meet current and future production requirements.
  • Lead performance against key plant indicators, including production attainment, total production cost, and customer quality performance, including 3MIS PPM.

We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Manager (m/f) to join our team in Sint-Truiden. By joining us, you will be part of a leading company shaping the future of hybrid transmission technology.

About the Job

As Plant Manager, you are responsible for the overall performance of our manufacturing plant in Sint-Truiden, which produces key components used in e-DCT hybrid transmissions.

You lead the day-to-day operation of the plant and ensure that production is delivered safely, at the required quality, volume, and cost. Your focus is on creating a stable, efficient, and continuously improving manufacturing operation.

You are accountable for plant performance across Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and continuous improvement, while ensuring the organization is ready for future product, process, and capacity requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the plant to achieve its Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People objectives.
  • Ensure achievement of the production plan in line with required output, quality, and delivery targets.

  • Ensure appropriate capacity, staffing, and resource planning to meet current and future production requirements.
  • Lead performance against key plant indicators, including production attainment, total production cost, and customer quality performance, including 3MIS PPM.
  • Develop the plant organization and its leaders, creating strong accountability, problem-solving capability, and shop-floor ownership.
  • Maintain constructive social dialogue with employees and union representatives in support of safe and sustainable plant operations.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, SQE, Supply Chain, suppliers, and other Stellantis plants where required to protect production continuity and industrial performance.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or equivalent through relevant experience.
  • Strong experience in production management, manufacturing engineering, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and manufacturing cost.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, operational performance management, and structured problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a multidisciplinary plant organization.
  • Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred:
  • Significant experience within the automotive or automotive component industry.
  • Experience in transmission, powertrain, or other high-volume precision manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Stellantis Production System principles, or equivalent manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with automation, industrialization, equipment investment, and new product launches.
  • Experience working across multiple plants, suppliers, and engineering organizations.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch.
