ENGIBEX in Belgium is seeking a piping design engineer to design and size piping systems for annealing and galvanizing furnaces, including cooling water, nitrogen, hydrogen, combustion gases, and utility networks.

The role involves hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, piping stress analyses, and preparation of calculations, reports, and specifications, with active collaboration across Process, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Process, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in industrial piping design and fluid systems engineering.
• Sound understanding of engineering standards, piping calculations, and equipment sizing.
• Experience with engineering software such as AVEVA, CADMATIC, TEKLA, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Valid work permit in Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Defining technical requirements for valves and piping equipment and supporting procurement activities through technical evaluations of supplier proposals.
• Coordinating technical interfaces with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation Engineering teams.
• Supervising and supporting designers during the development of piping layouts, isometrics, and support systems.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, project requirements, and company procedures
