Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, preferably in photonics, optics, electronics, or another high-tech industry.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Technical background in physics, optics, or electronic engineering.
• Experience with market analysis tools and methods.
• Knowledge of European markets and an established industry network.
• Experience in national and international project application development and proposal writing.
• Strong writing, communication, and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French, or German.
• A passion for technology, especially photonics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, industries, and applications for our photonics solutions.
• Build partnerships and open new sales and distribution channels.
• Generate and qualify new leads and hand them over to the sales team.
• Research market trends, customer needs, and competitors.
• Develop and execute strategies to position OneTouch Technology as a leader in optical communication.
• Share market and customer insights with the product team to guide product development.
• Work with senior management to align business development with company goals.
• Prepare and present reports on market activity, growth opportunities, and partnership progress.
