Job summary

UCB is seeking a Pharmacometrics Lead to define and deliver the pharmacometrics strategy for asset development. You will lead PBPK/QSP modeling and communicate insights to project teams across functions in Brussels or Anderlecht, Belgium.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD/MD in related fields, have 6+ years of modeling experience, and are proficient in PK-Sim/MoBi, SimCyp, and related tools. Strong collaboration with IT and regulatory teams is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Statistics or Engineering.
• 6+ years’ PBPK and QSP modeling experience in (Bio)pharma.
• Expertise in PK-Sim/MoBi, SimCyp, GastroPlus, MATLAB and R.
• Experience with ONMEM is a plus.
• Agile mindset with ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Extrapolation, dose selection, trial design and PIP development.
• Perform hands-on PBPK, QSP and clinical trial simulations.
• Translate analyses into actionable project insights.
• Develop submission-ready pharmacometrics analysis plans/reports.
• Oversee outsourced pharmacometrics activities.
• Help build a team with state-of-the-art mechanistic approaches.
• Engage with regulatory authorities globally in pediatrics, neurology and immunology.
• Promote MID3 internally and externally.
