PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks in our pediatric urgent care setting. You will greet patients, collect histories, take vital signs, and prepare them for procedures under physician supervision.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, accurate documentation, and teamwork to maintain efficient clinic operations. Prior pediatric exposure and strong computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience or education as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of EKG in children.
• Ability to obtain lab tests via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Pediatric experience and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers and office operations.
• Greet and register patients on arrival.
• Take medical histories, vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-ray and assist with labs.
• Assist with wounds, sterile procedures, and quality control in the lab.
• Maintain exam rooms and waiting area; ensure safety and confidentiality.
• Support patients in distress and respond to emergencies.
