PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech) to join our pediatric urgent care team. You will perform radiographic imaging, support physicians, and help ensure patient safety and care within your scope of practice under direct physician supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining high-quality images, maintaining equipment, and participating in QA and HIPAA-compliant data handling. Strong communication and calmness under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Radiologic Technologist program.
• Knowledge of medical practice and terminology, clinic processes, and procedures.
• Ability to use sound judgment and stay calm in emergencies.
• Effective verbal and nonverbal communication.
• Knowledge of digital imaging.
• Knowledge of electronic health records (eCW preferred).

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain and document daily quality control of radiology equipment at the start of shift.
• Document repeat exposures and parent holding log with pocket dosimeter read.
• Assist in radiology quality assurance program for radiography equipment.
• Immediately report any equipment malfunctions to management team.
• Be an integral part of the patient care team.
• Keep exam and x-ray room stocked with adequate supplies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
