Job summary

Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join our Global Payroll Operations Team. You will oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple jurisdictions, ensure compliance, and collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering to maintain data integrity.

Fluency in English is essential; remote work experience is a plus. You will drive process improvements in a fast-paced, largely asynchronous international environment.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing for multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of payroll best practices and compliance.
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a largely asynchronous international environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with remote work is a plus; AFAS payroll knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a true subject matter expert for the country.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineers.
• Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals and payments.
• Ensure data integrity and quality across payroll processes.
• Prepare payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs to drive performance.
• Implement and improve payroll processes and workflows.
• Mentor and support payroll specialists.
• Back up regional managers during absences.
