Description du poste

Trias strengthens entrepreneurial organizations around the world, that in turn support local entrepreneurs and farmers. Through tailored support for each partner, members get access to advice, small loans or training. This enables them to start a business or grow further. In this way, they gain more independence and generate sufficient income to give themselves, their families and their community a decent life.

To diversify resources and build strong alliances, Trias collaborates with private sector actors at local, national and international levels. At the same time, Trias is developing its general resource mobilisation strategy, focusing on traditional donors – with additional potential for engagement within our Belgian constituency.

This means you will not only help design winning proposals and build strong donor relations, but also open doors to companies and sector actors, positioning Trias as a credible and professional partner.

Are you someone who enjoys both rolling up your sleeves for concrete project work and steering the bigger picture through strategic partnerships? Then you are exactly the colleague we are looking for!

    • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of resource mobilisation strategies for the two assigned regions.
    • Provide hands-on support to teams in identifying opportunities, developing proposals, preparing budgets, and finalising agreements with donors.
    • Monitor co-funding requirements and provide guidance to ensure compliance.
    • Act as a soundboard for programme teams, supporting quality and timeliness of reporting and donor engagement.
  • Organisational Support & Knowledge Sharing
    • Share knowledge on international trade developments and donor trends.
    • Facilitate cross-team exchanges, mutual learning, and the dissemination of lessons learned.
    • Represent Trias in relevant networks, events and platforms, positioning Trias as a professional and networked NGO.
  • Strategic Lead on Private Sector Engagement
    • Develop and oversee Trias’ global private sector strategy, ensuring inclusion of private sector companies in Trias´ donor and partner’s mix.
    • Global lead on networking with international private sector companies and corporate foundations.
    • Share knowledge on international private sector trends in the development sector.
    • Coordinate exchanges the participation of Trias in international events across international value chains involving multiple regions and international private sector (e.g. cocoa, coffee, honey, potato), linking private sector actors with local entrepreneurs and farmers.
What do you have to offer us in terms of qualifications and skills?
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in project development, private sector partnerships, or resource mobilisation within an international NGO or corporate sustainability context.
  • Proven track record in developing proposals, building networks and negotiating partnerships.
  • Knowledge about/experience with the private sector, preferably in CSR/grants, ESG
  • Strong understanding of sustainable business practices, inclusivity and due diligence processes.
  • Excellent facilitation, networking and communication skills across cultures.
