Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking an experienced Freelance Low-Code Developer with strong OutSystems expertise to modernize legacy systems and deliver scalable, maintainable low-code solutions while progressively phasing out PHP-based code.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern in Leuven (3 days on-site, 2 remote) with an initial 6-month contract and a clear path to extensions up to 2 years, all conducted in English to support an international stakeholder base.

Qualifications

• Experience with OutSystems development (certification a plus).
• Strong background in PHP and legacy system modernization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Analyze legacy PHP-based applications and define migration strategies.
• Refactor or replace legacy code with low-code solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications.
• Test, debug, and optimize applications.
• Maintain documentation for developed solutions and migration processes.
• Support continuous improvement of development practices.
