Basalte is seeking a logistics/administrative professional to manage order processing, packing, shipping, and invoicing for a luxury smart home company. You will interact with sales teams to handle non-standard orders, ensure on-time shipping, and maintain critical follow-up with shippers and customs.

The role blends physical packing with administrative duties and requires Dutch and English fluency. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in administrative or logistical fields, are proficient

• Strong computer literacy (MS Office); experience with ERP systems (MS Business Central) is a plus.
• Able to combine physical packing with shipping and invoicing tasks.
• Excellent priority setting to manage ambiguity and customer promises.
• Meticulous with a keen eye for quality and details.

Responsabilités

• Process incoming sales orders and customer payments.
• Pack, ship, and invoice orders; prepare shipping documents.
• Coordinate with sales teams for non-standard orders and shipments.
• Keep shipping dates on track and inform customers proactively.
• Handle all other logistical tasks within the company.
• Maintain follow-up with shippers and customs in critical situations.

You are responible for:

• Processing incoming sales orders and customer payments


• Packing, shipping, and invoicing picked sales orders, including preparation of all shipping documents


• Interacting with sales teams for orders and shipments that fall outside of the standard flows


• Proactively contributing to honoring promised shipping dates to customers


• Executing all other logistical tasks in the company


• Closely following up with shippers and customs in critical situations


• Scaling and optimizing processes in collaboration with the team lead

What we expect from you:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in an administrative or logistical field or have equivalent experience


• You are computer literate with a thorough knowledge of MS Offce. Experience with an ERP system, particularly MS Business Central, is a big plus


• You thrive in a job where you combine physical work (packing) with administrative work (shipping & invoicing)


• You set priorities to deal with ambiguity and conflicting interests, and help honor the promises made to customers


• You work meticulously with an eye for detail and quality


• You are hands‑on and are happy to lend a hand where necessary


• You are fluent in Dutch and English
