Job summary

Spektrum seeks an Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant to support the FinS service in a NATO-related programme. You will provide L2/L3 functional support for Oracle EBS R12.2.x Financials and Purchasing, work on incident resolution, and engage in requirement analysis and design with stakeholders.

The role is full-time on-site in Belgium, with ITIL 4 understanding and eligibility for NATO/National security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x Financials and Purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials and Purchasing.
• ItIL 4 understanding is required.
• Proven Level 2/Level 3 functional support experience.
• Valid security clearance (National or NATO Secret) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 functional support for Oracle EBS and related applications.

Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS)

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.

To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.

Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant

Role Background

NCIA requires an Oracle EBS Financials Functional Consultant to support the FinS Application Service in Braine-l'Alleud.

The FinS service supports Oracle E-Business Suite applications used across NATO for business processes including finance, acquisition and travel. The contractor will work as a Level 3 Support Engineer, providing functional support and continuous improvement for these applications.

Role Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and related applications such as GL Wands and Apro.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 functional support.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, problems and service requests.
• Log, track and maintain support tickets within agreed service levels.
• Gather and analyse new business requirements and change requests.
• Support application configuration, setup and functional design.
• Develop and review requirements, functional/technical design documents and system specifications.
• Estimate effort for new requirements and implementations.
• Perform full lifecycle testing before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support integration activities across projects and Service Lines.
• Escalate complex issues to vendors or other technical teams and follow through to resolution.
• Maintain knowledge-base documentation.
