Lloyd’s Insurance Company (LIC), branded as Lloyd’s Europe, is recruiting an Operations Specialist to manage and continuously improve LIC’s operational processes. The role can be based in Brussels or London and involves day-to-day process oversight, acting as the primary point of contact for process-related matters, and ensuring compliance and efficiency across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations functions within regulated environments delivering services or information to other departments.
• Experience in (re)insurance operations or other regulated sectors requiring financial information processing.
• Experience in project management, oversight or design as a customer, supplier or stakeholder (desirable).
• Experience in start-up concepts, designing new processes from scratch, developing proof of concepts and business cases (desirable).
• Strong ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment with measured efficiency and quality.
• Solid understanding of risk, regulatory and compliance frameworks in insurance/reinsurance.

Responsabilités

• Support Managing Agents on executing LIC’s Operating Model.
• Perform portfolio analysis and operational controls of the LIC portfolio.
• Own Standard Operating Procedures from drafting to standardisation and optimisation.
• Escalate and analyse exceptional, complicated and non-standardised scenarios.
• Act as a trainer and referral point for the Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) supplier.
• Collaborate with Managing Agents and oversee their operational performance to ensure the LIC Operating Model is followed and optimised.
• Collaborate with Services & Technology suppliers, provide requirements and sign-off their deliverables to resolve issues and promote improvements.
• Monitor KPIs, KRIs and SLAs, and support resolution of issues impacting these metrics.
• Support identification and changes for continuous improvement of LIC’s Operating Model.
