Degroof Petercam is seeking an Operational Risk VIE in the Control Execution & Monitoring team to help strengthen the bank's internal control framework. You will work closely with risk officers and business functions to deploy, monitor and improve operational risk controls across the organization.

Reporting to the Operational Risk Manager, you will analyze control results, prepare management reporting, and promote a culture of risk awareness while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or Risk Management.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
• Ability to coordinate deployment of controls across functions.
• Ability to drive change and promote new control processes.
• Excellent communication; able to adapt messages for stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate deployment of operational risk controls across business lines and support functions.
• Ensure controls are documented, executed and monitored per internal standards and regulatory expectations.
• Challenge control results and identify weaknesses; propose improvements to strengthen the framework.
• Support design and enhancement of new controls to address emerging risks.
• Centralize and maintain inventory of controls in governance tool with consistency and documentation.
• Collect, review and analyze control results; prepare management reporting and insights.
• Promote a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.
