Bank Degroof Petercam SA is seeking an Operational Risk VIE to join the Control Execution & Monitoring team. You will work with risk officers and business functions to deploy and monitor controls, contributing to a stronger internal control framework and compliant risk processes.

The role emphasizes hands‑on learning, analytical thinking, and collaboration in a fast‑paced financial institution with exposure to governance tools and management reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering or Risk Management.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
• Ability to coordinate deployment of controls across functions.
• Ability to drive change and promote new control processes.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deployment of operational risk controls across business lines.
• Ensure controls are documented, executed and monitored per standards.
• Challenge control results and propose improvements to strengthen the framework.
• Support design and enhancement of new controls addressing emerging risks.
• Maintain inventory of controls in governance tool and prepare insights.
