Job summary

Sopra Steria Belgium is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and govern the software delivery lifecycle of containerized apps deployed on OpenShift. You will build CI/CD pipelines, implement release governance, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps (Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD, Git, Bitbucket/GitLab, Argo CD).
• DevSecOps: SonarQube, Snyk or similar, vulnerability and dependency management, secrets management.
• Repositories: Nexus or JFrog Artifactory.
• Ways of working: Jira, release management, automated testing and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and coach development teams and junior DevOps colleagues.
• Languages: English and French or Dutch are mandatory. Knowledge of the second national language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and govern the software delivery lifecycle of containerized applications deployed on OpenShift.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins and automate build, testing, quality, security, and deployment processes.
• Implement release governance and deployment approval workflows and support application lifecycle and release management.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to industrialize delivery and optimize scalability and reliability.
• Integrate security controls into pipelines and contribute to vulnerability management and observability.
