Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an HR Officer to join the Grimbergen Distribution Center team. You will support daily HR activities, handle recruitment and onboarding for blue-collar staff, and manage personnel administration with excellent accuracy.

You will answer HR questions, manage contracts and files, oversee benefits and badges, and support HR communications while handling confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification through relevant experience.
• First professional experience in HR, personnel administration, or recruitment is a plus.
• Strong administrative skills and work accurately and structured.
• Customer-oriented and energy from supporting employees and leaders.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Take initiative, work proactively, and know how to set priorities.
• Work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Good command of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and good command of English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer employee questions at the HR front desk.
• Draft contracts and manage employee files for blue-collar workers.
• Manage administration of company cars and employee benefits (insurances).
• Create and manage access badges.
• Follow up on invoices from HR service providers and vendors.
• Support internal HR communication and administrative follow-up for life events.
