Job summary

Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation in Grimbergen is seeking an HR Officer to support daily HR activities, recruitment, onboarding, and personnel administration. You will be a key contact for employees, managers, and external partners, ensuring accurate HR processes and services across the organization.

You will manage recruitment for blue-collar roles, onboarding, employee files, contracts, and benefits, collaborating with HR and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR.
• First professional experience in HR, personnel administration, or recruitment is a plus.
• Strong administrative skills and structured work approach.
• Customer-oriented with discretion and professionalism.
• Initiative, proactive work style, and ability to set priorities.
• Team player with independent work capability.
• Good command of Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and good English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HR activities and serve as a point of contact for employees, managers and external partners.
• Manage recruitment for blue-collar workers and interactions with temp agencies and partners.
• Onboard new employees and handle related administrative tasks.
• Maintain administrative follow-up for safety and background checks per Known Consignor requirements.
• Handle personnel administration such as drafting contracts and managing employee files.
