Edwards Leuven is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site service for Edwards Vacuum and Abatement equipment. You will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and support customers to ensure uptime and safe operation, reporting to the Operations Manager.

You will learn and grow within the role, advancing to more complex product ranges after training, using SMA data, CMS escalations, and reporting for informed decisions.

Qualifications

• University or formal qualification in a mechanical, electromechanical or electronics discipline.
• Previous field service experience in a relevant or related industry, ideally customer facing.
• Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and timeframes.
• Self-directed, with the ability to understand and resolve problems.
• Proactively seeks feedback and asks questions to understand business.
• Ability to share technical expertise and knowledge and provide coaching to less experienced team members.
• Collaborates with and supports team members to deliver company objectives.
• Complies with all applicable laws, policies, and standards.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in-home country language, basic English.
• Able to use computer software to record data and write reports.
• Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work e.g., technical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Independently conduct installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting to achieve high FTFR and customer satisfaction.
• Use Edwards SMA, CMS, and reporting to support customer satisfaction and data collection.
• Perform software setup, operation, maintenance, and basic analytics.
• Maintain safety and SHE practices and support teammates.
• Progress to more complex product ranges after training.
• Provide feedback and compile clear reports for line manager and technical support.
• Submit SMA data after activities to aid operational data collection.
• Set up, operate, and maintain software products and monitoring platforms on Edwards equipment.
