Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Belgium is offering an Oncology Clinical Scientist Intern position within the Global Oncology Internship Program. This full-time, 12-week internship (May 10 - August 13, 2027) provides hands-on clinical research exposure in oncologic therapeutics with a dedicated mentor and opportunities to contribute to clinical trials.

The role supports cross-functional teams, data review, and regulatory document preparation, with a hybrid on-site three days/week and remote two days/week

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college throughout the duration of the internship.
• Undergraduate or graduate students eligible; minimum four semesters completed.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a global matrix environment.
• Self-motivated with leadership or project involvement during studies.

Responsibilities

• Gaining understanding of clinical research and drug development processes (GCP, ICH, SOPs).
• Attend lectures and participate in cross-functional team meetings.
• Assist with trial activity management including patient tracking and enrollment reviews.
• Support document management within electronic trial master files (eTMF).
• Develop training materials and participate in project team activities.
• Present primary research project as a poster/abstract at the intern symposium.
