Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Manager to lead the Clinical Operations team in Beerse, Belgium and Breda, Netherlands. You will manage Local Trial Managers, Site Managers, and Clinical Trial Assistants, overseeing trial delivery with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 8+ years in Clinical Research, 2+ years of line management, and fluency in English and Dutch (French for Belgium).

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Life Sciences or related field, or 8–10 years equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of Clinical Research experience in pharmaceutical industry, CRO or investigational site.
• At least 2 years of line management experience desirable.
• Proven leadership & communication skills; champion team productivity and cohesiveness.
• Strong decision-making & issue resolution skills; contingency planning for productivity & quality issues.
• Excellent interpersonal & influencing skills; able to engage with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management to Local Trial Managers, Site Managers and Clinical Trial Assistants.
• Oversee trial delivery from feasibility through study close-out with SOP and Health Care Compliance adherence.
• Drive site engagement, issue resolution, inspections, and CAPA management.
• Lead continuous improvement and organizational change; develop country strategy and implement new processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, timelines and budget alignment.
