AYES Belgium is seeking an Engineering Consultant to work on-site, ensuring safety and quality with the Construction Manager. You will act as the engineering SPOC, coordinating electromechanical queries between site and engineering teams and provide technical ownership for outfitting issues.

The role requires an engineering degree (Electrical or Electromechanical) with about 3 years of relevant experience, plus fluency in English (Dutch a plus).

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering required.
• Around 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in Offshore or multidisciplinary construction is a strong asset.
• Experience with Quality Control/Assurance on construction sites is a plus.
• Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus; VCA VOL/SCC and strong MS Office skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Work on-site, ensuring Safety & Quality with the Construction Manager.
• Act as the engineering SPOC, coordinating mainly electromechanical queries between site and engineering teams.
• Provide technical ownership for outfitting issues and act as a knowledge centre for site inspectors.
• Lead quality follow-up, coordinate inspections and manage contractor documentation and non-conformities.
• Support site team management, contractor, vendor activities and project reporting.
