Ghent University invites applications for a fixed-duration research position focused on on-chip spectroscopy in the UVC range. You will perform measurements and analyze spectroscopic data as part of a photonics program.

The successful candidate holds a Master’s degree in engineering linked to photonics and will contribute to a scientific paper. The contract runs from 2 November 2026 to 28 February 2027 and includes staff benefits.

Formación

• Master’s degree in engineering strongly linked with photonics.
• Experience performing on-chip spectroscopy in the UVC range.
• Expert knowledge in data analysis produced by Fourier optic imaging.

Responsabilidades

• Perform on-chip spectroscopy measurement in the UVC wavelength range.
• Process and analyze spectroscopic data.
• Write a scientific paper.
