AYES Belgium is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to design offshore structures and infrastructure projects, developing robust solutions under offshore conditions and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, perform Eurocode-based calculations, and ensure compliance while contributing to a dynamic international environment with strong development opportunities.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Construction) or equivalent.
• Initial relevant experience in Civil/Structural Engineering, offshore/marine/heavy industry preferred.
• Experience with structural calculation/design software; SCIA Engineer preferred.
• Interest in offshore engineering; able to work in multidisciplinary/international environment.
• Fluent in English; French/Dutch knowledge is a plus.

What will your role be?

• Participate in and/or take ownership of the design and engineering of offshore structures and infrastructure projects.
• Develop structural solutions considering offshore conditions, installation methods, environmental loads, and operational requirements.
• Perform structural calculations and designs in accordance with applicable Eurocodes, offshore standards, legislation, and industry codes of practice.
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the different project phases.
• Ensure compliance with technical, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Who are we looking for?

• You have at least an initial relevant work experience in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably within offshore, marine, or heavy industry projects.
• You hold a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (specialization Construction) or have equivalent relevant experience.
• You have experience with structural calculation and design software, preferably SCIA Engineer.
• You have an interest in offshore engineering and are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
• You are structured, solution-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English, professional knowledge of French/Dutch is a big plus.
