Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Marine & Offshore Operations Coordinator to support daily offshore site activities in Ostend, Belgium. You will manage operational data, coordinate vessel and personnel movements, and ensure accurate reporting and admin follow-up to keep the project running smoothly.

You bring 4–8 years of logistics or offshore operations experience, a Master’s degree in a relevant field, and fluency in Dutch and English.

• Participate in daily coordination meetings and maintain minutes, reports and action logs.
• Identify inconsistencies or deviations in operational information and escalate as needed.
• Provide on-site coordination and administrative support when required.

You will help manage operational information, coordinate vessel and personnel movements, and ensure the smooth running of daily site activities through accurate reporting and administrative follow-up.

• Support the daily coordination of offshore and site operations.
• Maintain and update operational data, vessel registrations, and personnel information in dedicated coordination systems.
• Monitor documentation submitted by contractors and ensure its completeness and accuracy.
• Support the planning and coordination of vessel movements and personnel transfers to and from offshore sites.
• Assist with the administration of permits, site access, and vessel approvals.
• Participate in daily coordination meetings and maintain meeting minutes, reports, and action logs.
• Monitor operational information, identify inconsistencies or deviations, and escalation issues to the relevant stakeholders.
• Provide on-site coordination and administrative support when required.
• You have 4–8 years of experience in logistics, maritime operations, offshore activities, or operational coordination.
• You hold a Master's degree in a relevant field.
• You have proven experience in logistics and a good understanding of operational processes.
• You possess strong organisational, administrative, and reporting skills.
• You are comfortable managing operational data, checking documentation, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• You are structured, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team.
• Experience in offshore energy, maritime logistics, or industrial site coordination is an advantage.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You are willing to work on-site in Ostend, Belgium, with no remote-working arrangement.
